Etro
Italian designer Gimmo Etro launched the Etro line as a textile house in 1968, and originally gained popularity by producing superb fabrics in intricate prints. Later in the 1990's, the company expanded into a ready-to-wear clothing collection. Today, all aspects of the business are still family-owned and operated with Veronica Etro designing womenswear; Kean Etro handling menswear; and brothers Jacopo and Ippolito running Etro’s textiles, accessories, home, and finance divisions. The Etro look is consistent and pervasive. Renoun for masterfully combining dazzlingly printed separates, lustrous fabrics, and offbeat color combinations.
