Fall / Winter 2010 Runway Trend Report

There was a sense of stability on the Fall 2010 runways that we haven't seen in quite some time. While designers would normally be pushing the limits of their new collections with shock and awe hemline, and exaggerated silhouettes - Fall 2010, in our opinion veered more towards comfortable, classic and dare we say even wearable design. 1. Army Green: This military chic olive hue boasted a prominent presence on the runways of Marc by Marc Jacobs, Versus, Junya Watanabe, Fendi, and Burberry.

2. Cape Cravings: There's nothing better than a fabulous wrap and with lust-worthy cloaks, capes, and ponchos on parade at Cerutti, Alexander McQueen, Missoni, Issa, and Elie Tahari there'll be no shortage to choose from come Fall 2010!

5. Heavy Metal: Accessories get a bold makeover with statement chains, and armour like accents - source your inspiration from designers like Chanel, Lanvin, Yves Saint Laurent, and Giambattista Valli.

6. Winter Lace: - Done in deep jewel tones, black and luxe metallics lace, gets a little moodier for Fall as seen at Dolce & Gabbana, Stella McCartney, D&G, Burberry, Collette Dinnigan, and Balmain.

7. Leather Clad: Designers such as Christian Dior, Ferragamo, Akris, Louis Vuitton, Hermes, and Pedro Lourenco prove that leathers can make for more than just beautiful outerwear when they presented these luscious looks for Fall 2010!
