It is made out of a genuine python snake skin, and comes trimmed with leather, gold tone metal / plastic tortoiseshell hardware, and pretty green suede lining on the inside. Truthfully we think the overall color of the bag looks much more like a copper than a gold; but the tag reads "Gold". Styling includes a decorative push-lock on the gathered front, two leather trimmed chain style handles, top zip closure, large interior compartment, single interior zip closure pocket, and "Marc Jacobs" engraved hardware.
